Sooo close!!!

I had to share some of my enthusiasm for a moment. I finished a big project last night and almost done with two others! I got to take them off my list to the left. Woo hoo!! That is all, carry on :)

Wonder Woman

Anyone that knows me knows that I LOOOOOOVE Wonder Woman. It reminds me of my childhood and underroos. My Mom would make me silver bracelets and a headband (whatever that's called) out of cardboard and foil and I'd run up and down the drive way with rope lassoing what ever I could find. Anyway, I found the old shows on Hulu.com and got to wondering how much it would cost to buy the DVDs. So I got on Amazon.com and you won't believe how much they were a piece. Drumroll please.........$5 and we're talking brand spanking new!! I got all 3 seasons for $20!! Count 'em...Seasons 1, 2, and 3 for $20!!! Oooh I am a happy girl!! If only I could still run up and down my street with my underroos and rope!

My FIRST Halloween

So I'm saying My FIRST Halloween because I haven't dressed up for Halloween since I was a kid. I play Bunco with girls from my ward and the theme was obviously Halloween. So Rachelle suggested I go as Mimi from the Drew Carey Show. By the time I got off work I had 30 minutes to find make up and a wig. This is what became of it. I'm pretty sure I'm a good mix of Mimi, Dolly Parton, and old hooker. Take your pick :0)

This was the Warden's home. Anyone who worked at Alcatraz had to live on Alcatraz Island (if I remember correctly from the film). They had houses and yards for kids to play in. The kids would take a ferry to and from San Francisco for school every day.
